These Shoes Are Made For Walking...

Brian Atwood's tie-dye heels, perfect with my SBC shorts

Carrie:
I've spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!

Alexander Mcqueen's OTT temptress heels

What is it with women and shoes. We would rather suffer at the hands of a 4-inch than admit these killer heels are not made for walking. Moi for one just can't pass up on a pair of beautifully sculpted heels, never mind if they are 4 or 5 inches. It has become my di rigeur shopping routine to bypass all that are considered sensible and zero in on those that are on red alert at a podiatrist.

My new Bally booties & Miu Miu 5-inch

My folly of shoe shopping is evident in my recent purchase of this pair of crazay Miu Miu 5 inch. Defiance, vanity, I don't know but I am drawn to them like bees to honey though I rarely wear any of my heels that are 3 inches and upwards. Blame it on those big grooves in the pavements which are the greatest disservice to my stilettoes:( Anyhow, I figured out that to wear heels without flinching, go half a size up (esp for Asians since our feet are broader) to allow your toes some wriggling room

Sensible shoes are boring??? Nay, not if they start with C...

Ok, I am not completely oblivious to the suffering of my feet. These sensible ballerinas and flip flops must be like hallelujah to the most used and abused part of my anatomy^^

To my feet: Enjoy while it last for right now I am loving them Louboutin nude pumps...
