Pinky Flower Power...

At this time of the year, I get all romantic and sappy. I put the blame squarely on the blistering summer heat for this sudden change of temperament. Just take a look at what is on my current wish-list of accessories and bags, for I now favour saccharine over edgy, visionary over minimalist.

My latest infatuation is with Marni's current Spring Summer collection. Marni's hallmark quirkiness is given a touch of femininity with these horn flower accents adorning their necklaces and bracelets. Just like the first spring blooms bursting onto earth, they are fresh and breathtaking, though donning both concurrently will probably give you an overkill of kawaii-ness.

In addition, I really like Marni's www.marni.com. Not only can I take a peek at their pricing, I can even go as far as comparing the prices amongst different regions! To digress, the same goes for user-friendly websites like, www.hermes.com, www.balenciaga.com. Just don't expect the same thoughtful service from snooty Mademoiselle Chanel.

Speaking of which, I happened to stumble upon my version of the "it" bag for summer. Tie-dye is back in fashion with yellow and pink seemingly the current favoured hues. This Chanel ombré lamb leather 2.55 is spot on on both trends. It looks kind of washed-out in the picture but I can assure you that you will never want to let go once you get up close and personal. Afterall, even bags have their not-so-photogenic moments(^_~)
