Going Platinum

Am stuck in a fashion rut (if it is remotely possible at all!). Feeling burnt-out, been really sedated this year, with not much happening on the wardrobe front. Somehow in between those wham-bang Louboutins, Hermes and cheep-cheep Bangkok buys over the crazy year-end hols, I started to develop shoppers' fatigue. And lo and behold, my inspiration, zest for the fickle world of fashion fizzled out just like a can of open coke left overnight.

Looking into my (already packed) wardrobe everyday and moaning repeatedly that "I have absolutely nothing to wear" is not exactly a morale booster either. So, armed with a desperate need for a quick-fix, I started sniffing around for some off-beat places to nudge my worn-out self back to its previous effervescent shopaholic self.

The euphoria one gets from having snag a good buy is as addictive as junk food. Loving it even more when friends throw hissy fits upon learning that particular to-die-for necklace or dress cost less than that infamous bowl of laksa at MBS!

Anyhow, here is one promising mall that is looking to draw me back from the dark side. After witnessing damaging photos of friends who had just been there, the Platinum Mall in Bangkok looks set to be my fashion salvation. Apparently, they have got 6 floors of everything under that one tiled roof!

Looks like there is a ray of hope for the despondent shopaholic afterall...
