Seolleongtang

Though not as exciting as what you would get in Seoul, these side dishes still get the thumbs up from me
Hot soup is my comfort food

Home alone on a chilly night, something soupy for dinner was in order. Made a beeline for our neighbourhood after work and decided on Ichiryu. A small homely Korean restaurant, it enjoys a tremendous following for its Seolleongtang, even counting the very suave Kwon Sang-
woo as one of its fan. The milky soup, made by boiling ox bones etc for 24 hours is delicately flavoured. Razor thin beef slices and glass noodles are thrown in before serving. Eaten together with the accompanying side dishes, they are a match made in food haven.
