E Is For Etro...

Etro Floral Striped Dress: Multi-coloured floral print with fuchsia/yellow/black tulle overlay. Babe-licious!!!

"A kaleidoscopic burst of colours" befits this lovely dress by Veronica Etro. The gaudy base floral motif has been cleverly disguised with a multi-coloured striped tulle overlay for a peek-a-boo effect. These bold, thick horizontal stripes in solid colours help bring about a certain bohemian chic to this dress.

Also worthy of mention is their "India" series of shawls, particularly the Madras and the Calcutta shawls. Several Hollywood A-listers have also been spotted toting these scarves around Tinseltown. They are beautifully woven and the colours are just dazzling!

Personally, I have never been a fan of Etro as their signature look of paisley print with loud bright colours is just simply not my cup of tea. But this time, moi is in loveeeee...However, I think that this brand is still better regarded for its men's suits, which though conservatively styled has a certain quirkiness with the incorporation of loud, colorful fabric in the lining or under the collar and cuff. Well, men just have all the fun...
