Rive Gauche Totes in to-die-for crocodile and chevretteI had to include a YSL bag as a tribute to the late fashion guru, Yves Saint Laurent. And my top pick is the Rive Gauche Tote. This bag is similar in design to the well-celebrated Muse as it sports the same iconic turn-lock closure. However, with the Muse, it can look as if you are carrying tons of paperwork from your office in that A4 size structured shape whereas the slightly slouchy Rive Gauche conveys a much softer look. It was very ingenious of the fashion house to incorporate a thick side strap into the bag as it helps retain its shape given the size. I am absolutely ga-ga over the ones in exotic skin. Be it ostrich or crocodile, the texture on the leather is evoking pure lust from me...So quintessentially YSL...*sigh, sigh*
