Postcard Perfect

After whinging for the longest time about the chilly weather here, it was a relief to be able to get away from it all for the Golden week. I wanted some place where I can run amok half naked and worship the sun like never before. Yesssss, that was how desperate I was to be sun kissed!

And so, as the story goes, we finally ended up in Redang, an island off the east coast of Malaysia, famed for its crystal clear waters and pristine white sandy beach.

Though one might feel slightly ripped off by the high prices and substandard service offered at the Berjaya Redang Spa Resort, the beach is so amazingly beautiful that all is forgiven. And I can assure you, I am no slouch when it comes to beach vacations. To us, Redang is unequivocally, infallibly an island paradise...
