Deal

Nostalgic times
Do you remember...Donkey Kong II Game & Watch

Used to spend many fun hours with classmates playing Monopoly, Cluedo, Life etc after mugging for midterms and finals. Back then, there weren't so many hi-tech gizmos with the crème de la crème being Game & Watch which Nintendo had discontinued since beginning of the 90s. These board games though passe now definitely bring back some nostalgia.

Addictive. Got them for the BFFs tooTop row are the killer cards

Was glad to be acquainted with these Monopoly Deal Cards while back in Singapore. Essentially a card game derived from Monopoly, they are produced and sold by Parker Brothers under licence from Hasbro. Given its portability, the game can be played anytime, anywhere as the objective is to amass 3 sets of properties, unlike its lengthy board counterpart. Ingenious! Even the tweenies seem to have catch on to them, granted that they do live in an era where choices are aplenty with indulgent parents as evident from the many iPhones and iPads toting tots. Perhaps tradition is making a comeback, slowly but surely.
