Bag Addiction #10, Her Ultimate...

Ostrich Birkin with a cute Cadena lock and matching purse in this season's hottest violet

With a wait list as long as the Great Wall, may I present to you the crème de la crème, the infamous Birkin. The Birkin needs no introduction as it is considered by many as the pinnacle of elegance and top notch craftsmanship. With each individual bag stamped with the mark of a craftsman and the year in which it was manufactured, these well sought after bags have become a status symbol since even with "S-11", it does not guarantee you one instantaneously. It is possible though, to have a bespoke Birkin if you have wads of "S-11" oozing from every pore of your body and are patient enough to wait up to 2 years. It certainly does not hurt either that the various animal hide in which these bags originate from come in such irresistibly glorious hues! That and coupled with Herme's stellar reputation, we have here the ultimate bag:)

But, call me "sour grapes"; I do sometimes wonder if they will lose their lustre if the supply has not been capped and the prices are more southwards...
