For added height without the added strain, wedges are a shoo-in for the impending summer. No more teetering on them wicked heels and no more cursing as once again my heel tips are ripped apart by those monstrous pavement grooves...GRRR
These are last year's offerings from the shoe wizard. My intention of featuring them here is to share with you folks the Japanese's innate sense of styling. Though it is not a style which I personally would dabble in, it does offer an instant update to a well-worn look.
Still Loubies rule...
If like me, you are less adventurous, do not despair. Wear them as they come for red, beige, white, are the perfect summery colours to strike a pose in. Just don't ask me to name my fave colour!
These Guccis are from a few seasons ago. I still recall the first time I had wore them at Narita airport. I was such a slowpoke in them that my other half was seriously hopping mad. He had warned me beforehand that new shoes (at least 5 inch ones) had to be broken in first but I was too impatient to heed his advice. In the end, I was left grimacing in pain as the left wedge kept slipping and rubbing against my broken skin as I walked. And according to Murphy's law, our boarding gate had to be the remotest:( Anyway, I should be donning them again soon for summer. Come what may, slip in an insole and I should be alrighty^^
